Oct. 10th-11th : Parrottsville, TN – Parrottsville Heritage Days

Parrottsville Heritage Days - Parrotsville, TN 2008

My good friend Suzanne and I went to this festival last year. The tiny town overflowed with that quaint, small town feeling in their little white picket fence enclosed park called the Parrott-Larue-Myers Park. I wish I had some pictures to share, it was so much fun and everyone was so nice. I can’t tell you what beautiful weather, fun shows sprinkled with shopping, and helicopter or Monster car ride can do for your fall spirit!

This year, starting on Friday evening there will be a chili cook-off. O how I do love my chili! Then Little Lina’s Lovelies will be sharing a booth with Cheryl’s Wooden Creations. Hope to see you there!

The New To-Do

The other day I stumbled onto some crafty things done by very talented ladies. Unfortunately, the reason I found their blogs and their products was because I was researching how to do some of my latest ideas. Then BAM there they were, my ideas, all completed, in wonderful fabrics, selling out in minutes on someone else’s site. After dealing with some sinking feelings upon finding this, I looked a litte more closely at what they offered. I realized that yes, they were pretty much exactly what I wanted to create, BUT they weren’t my favorite colors, they weren’t 100% what I would do, or what I loved. This gave me a big, bright idea! I made a list to share with you of things that I truly cherish in life. I’m posting this list here, and I shall create at least 1 of each of these items, or share the experience artistically with you. So without further a-do, here is my list.

Even in a world where most things have been thought of and already produced, perhaps just putting the YOU into it, it can be a fabulous, new lovely that brightens someone’s day.
