Spending the day with a good friend in Asheville, NC is a fantastic way to soothe stress away. Especially when you find glorious ginko trees that absolutely amaze you with the colors. It was such a beautiful, cool day as we strolled around town shopping. We came down some stairs and BAM! Here were these ginko trees lining the street. The lemon colors screamed against the blue sky. So I just had to stop and take photos to share! Not to mention, as you can see on my Things I Love list, leaves are just one of my favorites.

Seventh Annual Benefit and Cabaret - New York City, NY 2008
I was asked to donate one of my Dreamy Creamy On-The-Go Bags and my Sparrow to My Heart Necklace to the Seventh Annual Benefit and Cabaret at the historic Birdland Jazz Club on Monday, November 17th in NYC which will have Tony and Academy Award-winning participants along with Broadway’s finest composers! I am so honored and looking forward to helping with the benefit.
It is hosted by the Sonnet Repertory Theatre, Inc. They are “dedicated to classic theatre for the modern planet. SRT promotes classic plays and adaptations, providing forums for collaboration between emerging artists and established professionals. With Classics in the Classroom, SRT aims not only to entertain, but also to educate young people by engaging them with timeless literature through expressive theatre.” How wonderful!
