This piece was super hard for me to create without a reference, and I’m still not happy. But maybe some of you will enjoy the piece anyway, maybe you can find the enchantment I cannot after working on it so hard. I think it’s like when you cook, you don’t always taste the flavors.

perfect!
Thank you Christina! Your illo was adorable!
Exquisite!!! I hope IL select this. A real winner!
You should give your self credit! What you illustrated was PASSION, and that is what Tango is all about. I struggled with this one also and spent “way” to much time…and I had something totally different in mind. It got to the point where I had my daughter to choose the best thumbnail and just did it!
maybe after sleeping on it you’ll like it more. i think it’s totally enchanting.
Thank you Cyndia, what a wonderful compliment! I was striving to express the dancer’s passion and the heat of the dance itself. Even if striving felt more like stretching, I’m so glad to hear it was reflected in your eyes!
Thank you too Seeknowbrown!
You’ve set a mood of cool passion! I love the colors and mood!
I love the flower
I love it!! You created the mood brilliantly and the lighting is superb…great stuff!!
What a beautiful piece!
Thanks for stopping by my blog! You asked what medium I used for my illustrations…it’s a mix of acrylic paint, ink, and scrapbook paper. The scrapbook paper adds a bit of texture and I love the designs. It can be a bit tedious cutting out each piece, but I like what the paper adds to each piece.
Absolutely beautiful and passionate!
Ohhh! It’s beautiful, sculptural and full of emotion and isn’t that everything tango is as well.
